Dhanya Balakrishna (born August 6, 1991) is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Telugu and Tamil cinema, alongside appearances in Kannada and Malayalam films. After working in theatre, she made her screen debut in *7 Aum Arivu* (2011), followed by the bilingual release *Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi* (2012) and its Telugu version *Love Failure* (2012). In 2013, Balakrishna gained wider recognition with supporting roles in *Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu* and *Raja Rani*, playing her first leading role that same year in *Chinni Chinni Aasa*. Her subsequent Telugu releases included *Amrutham Chandamamalo* (2014), the horror comedy *Raju Gari Gadhi* (2015), *Bhale Manchi Roju* (2015), *Nenu Sailaja* (2016), and *Jaya Janaki Nayaka* (2017). Balakrishna expanded across South Indian industries in 2019, making her Malayalam debut in *Love Action Drama* and her Kannada debut in *Sarvajanikarige Suvarnavakasha*. In streaming, she starred in the series *As I'm Suffering From Kadhal* (2017), *What's Up Panimanishi* (2018), and *Loser* (2022).
