Narrative Synopsis
Ferdi is released from prison after a long term behind bars. During his incarceration, his mother has been institutionalized in a psychiatric hospital due to schizophrenia.He tries to rebuild his life and cope with the burdens that followed him during his time inside. He also has to deal with the emotional and practical weight of his mother’s condition. Meanwhile, a young journalist (Meral) is interested in exposing and writing about the lives of “prisoners of fate”. Ferdi and Meral’s paths cross and her work brings her into contact with Ferdi and the struggles he’s facing.
