Narrative Synopsis
This film is adapted from the original novel "The Winds Rise" by Hu Xuewen. Middle-aged man Kong Lingxue is a Chinese language teacher at the Shuangquan Wushu School in a city in Northeast China. In one class, he confiscates a girl named Liu Meng's phone, and later intervenes in a fight between Liu Meng and a young man named Axiang, who is pursuing her. This action leads to trouble for Kong Lingxue.
